Writing
I have an impressive range of scholarly publications from before, during, and after my time in China. I have a keen eye for journalistic excellence, and I have contributed to numerous newspaper and magazine articles, alongside compelling editorials and columns. Through this portfolio, you will witness my talent for combining rigorous academic research with engaging storytelling, making me a versatile and sought-after writer across various genres.
Note on My Writing Portfolio
I apologize that some of the links to my articles in this portfolio are missing. In some cases, the articles were published in private newsletters or magazines that are no longer available online. In other cases, the articles were published so long ago that the links have disappeared.
However, I have retained the pre-publication versions of all of my China freelance journalism articles in PDF form. If you would like to see any of these articles, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to send them to you.
I have also retained the Knomads research investigation report for the World Bank and papers I did for the International Organization on Migration and International Labor Organization while working at CCG. These papers will give you a better idea of my knowledge about China’s urbanization, internal migration, and talent attraction policies.
Thank you for your interest in my work!
